Thailand Burma Border Consortium: Supply of White Rice.
Minimum quality of White Rice 25% as per the standards laid down by the Thai Ministry of Commerce “Thai Rice Standard 1997”. The rice should be from the latest harvest and must be fit for human consumption and be free from unpleasant smell and taste, infestation, and any presence of worm nests.The rice must be free of chemical contaminate including pesticide residues, which are dangerous for human consumption.The moisture content in rice must not exceed 14%.Grass seeds and other seeds in rice must not exceed 40 seeds per 100 Grams.The Seller must provide a Certificate of Origin, to certify the source(s) of paddy, crop year, and month of milling to the Buyer for every shipment of rice delivered by the Seller.
The following documentation is necessary before payments will be made to the Seller:
Numbered Invoice including packing/weight list, price per unit, destination, purchase order number(s), and total invoice amount. The Seller should forward these to TBC’s Bangkok Office with a copy to TBC’s Field Office.
The Company’s Delivery receipts signed by the Camp Committee Staff who have been authorised to accept receipt of the goods. The Seller should submit the original of these to TBC’s Field Office, and leave a copy with the Camp Committee Representative.
A confirm delivery signed by the Camp Committee Staff who have been authorised to accept receipt of the goods. The Camp Committee will submit one copy of each document to the TBC Field Office.
The survey Report by the Inspection Company
