The paddy farmers in Karnataka specially in Raichur district are advised to sell their paddy.
“As we see prices firming up in Sindhanur APMC, Demic has come out with price forecast for paddy valid for November and December,” Balachandra K. Naik, Head of Demic, told Business Line.
This year the paddy growing region received good rainfall as a result the paddy growth in the state specially in north Karnataka is very good so it has harvested earlier and ready to flow into the markets.
The price rate for the paddy on month basis is collected from the Sindhanur APMC which is one of the important rice market in the north Karnataka for the past 24 years.
The forecast estimated the prices of the paddy at 1850-2100 per quintal but for November it is estimated between 2100-2300 so the farmers are advised to sell their paddy in the month of November so that they can make a good profit.
