Supply & Delivery of Rice
The tenderers are hereby invited by Japan International Cooperation System (JICS) as the Agent of “Commissariat à la Sécurité Alimentaire” of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, for supply and delivery of rice. The Government of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania received a grant from the Government of Japan for supply and delivery of rice according to the Exchange of Notes signed on January 23, 2014 between the Government of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania and the Government of Japan. This present tender is open to only Japanese firms* who have bought the Tender Documents from JICS. The eligible tenderers are limited to those who satisfy the qualification requirement to participate in tendering procedures indicated in the attached form “QUALIFICATION TO PARTICIPATE IN TENDERING PROCEDURES”. In purchasing the Tender Documents, the name of firm/company, the name of a person in charge and contact information shall be required for further communication.
A complete set of Tender Documents is available at Five Thousand Japanese yen (¥5,000) from 10:00 to 12:00 and from 14:00 to 17:00 from June 23 to June 27, 2014 at JICS’s office (address below). JICS also distributes the electronic version of “Form of Tender” to those who purchased the hard copy version upon request. In case of discrepancies between the hard copy and the electronic version, the hard copy version shall prevail, and JICS will not be responsible for any contamination caused by computer virus. The term “Japanese firms” shall be defined as Japanese juridical persons controlled by Japanese physical persons, the majority of whose share is held by Japanese physical persons or Japanese juridical persons and the majority of whose board members are Japanese physical persons.
