As per sources, it has been reported that Morelos Atypical rains and climatological changes that have occurred in recent months have favored rice crops, as stated by Mr Jesus Loza Roman, Marketing Coordinator of the Secretariat of Agricultural Development (Sedagro). It has also been revealed that unlike other products, unexpected rainfall and changes in climate have helped to rice farmers have better harvests this year. The production in this year has been better than the past, and the weather has been a major factor, which is good news because in the last four years were kept in standard production as it has been disclosed.
Further, it has been commented that during 2016 estimate that the harvest will be 16 tons of rice, when the average is 10 to 11 tons per year, which will be a great season for producers in the state of Morelos. It was recalled that rice is one of the agricultural products with designation of origin at the national level so that the benefits will outweigh also the Sedagro is to achieve official Mexican standard rice would issue the Ministry of Economy, through the Directorate General of Standards allowing to give certainty and better marketing the product of the entity accordingly.
